What's the difference between a kitchen extension and a renovation?
A renovation rebuilds the kitchen in its existing space; an extension adds floor area or opens the kitchen up to living and dining for true open-plan living. Extensions are larger projects that usually involve structural building work.
Do you do the building and structural work too?
We design, supply and install the kitchen for your extended space. For structural work — walls, roofing, flooring — we work alongside your builder, or can recommend trusted trades to deliver the whole project.
Will I need council approval or a permit?
Extensions that change the building footprint usually require a building permit and sometimes a planning permit. Your builder or draftsperson can advise — we'll design the kitchen to suit the approved plans.
How much does a kitchen extension cost in Melbourne?
